DescriptionRegistered Nurses are directly responsible for patient care during procedures and indirectly responsible for coordination and information sharing of both pre- and post-procedural care. RNs exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making skills. They are expected to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the physician.
Responsibilities Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Performing patient assessments and reviewing patient information
- Coordinating planned nursing care with other health care team members
- Identifying goals, formulating plans of patient care and evaluating outcomes
- Training and instructing new personnel as necessary
- Performing meticulous scope cleaning when required, according to policy, procedure and manufacturers' recommendations
- Assisting with organization and development of policies and procedures
Experience - Minimum of two years experience preferred
License/Certification - Current California Registered Nurse license
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificate
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certificate
