The Clinical Nurse II, Oncology is a Registered Nurse who delivers direct care to assigned Oncology patients in an ambulatory setting. Nursing care is delivered using standards of care by following approved policies and procedures. Utilizing appropriate decision making skills exhibits competence in the technical, interpersonal and cognitive skills required to independently and safely manage routine patient assignment. The Clinical Nurse II, Oncology establishes a plan of care, sets goals, determines priorities, and provides care within established standards of practice.
QualificationsJob qualifications- Assoc. Degree/College Diploma Nursing program required
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (state accredited program)
Work Experience- 1 year acute care experience in their specialty
- 1 year For Infusion Center
Licenses and Certifications- Valid CA RN license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- ONS Chemo/Immunotherapy Certified
