About the Job

The RN Manager - ICU / Critical Care assumes 24/7 accountability for nursing practice, quality of care, staff performance, and operational outcomes for the ICU. The Registered Nurse Manager provides leadership and guidance to nursing staff while ensuring exceptional patient care across the West Bank serving New Orleans, LA and surrounding communities.

Key Responsibilities: As an RN Manager / Registered Nurse Manager - ICU, you will:

  • Lead and support ICU nursing staff in a fast-paced Critical Care environment.
  • Ensure quality of care, patient safety, and satisfaction within the ICU.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, budgets, and productivity metrics.
  • Oversee clinical practice standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Foster professional development, staff engagement, and retention.
  • Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams across New Orleans, LA.
  • Maintain clinical proficiency while overseeing ICU / Critical Care operations on the West Bank.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.


Required Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana.
  • Minimum 7 years of nursing experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or RN Manager role.
  • Strong background in ICU / Critical Care nursing.
