Registered Nurse - 1:1 Community-Based$39.00/hour | Full-Time | 1st ShiftPosition OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 care for a young woman with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community-based setting. This full-time role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about person-centered care and helping individuals achieve greater independence.
You will support her health, safety, and daily living both in a private home and during community activities, building a consistent and trusting relationship.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and assess the individual's health status; communicate observations to supervisor and family.
- Promote overall health and wellness through nursing best practices.
- Foster open, respectful communication with the person supported and their family.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs.
- Assist with community outings and daily activities.
- Administer and track medications as prescribed.
- Monitor and document seizure activity.
- Accompany the individual to medical appointments as needed.
- Attend all required state and agency trainings.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor's in Nursing).
- Valid Rhode Island RN license required.
- Proof of vaccinations in accordance with RIDOH guidelines.
