Full Job Description

Position Summary:Provides professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluatingthe nursingcare for assigned patients. The Registered Nurse provides care consistent with the standards of professional nursing. Provides leadership and supervision to CNA/SNA and other healthcare workers as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assesses each patients physical, psychosocial, cultural, nutritional, and functional needs

  • Plans and implements a plan of care with theappropriate nursinginterventions specific to the age population served

  • Assesses educational needs of patient/ families implementing teaching strategies

  • Evaluate care given including the patient response

  • Documents nursing care in the medical record

  • Provides delegation and supervision to CNA, SNA and other healthcare workers whoassistthe nurse in the plan of care

  • Administers medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Promotes a clean and safe environment of care,utilizingthe SAFE error prevention habits

  • Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct

Required Qualifications:

Education and Training:

  • CPR certified

  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois or eligible for licensure per Nurse Practice Act

Work Shift Details:

Days - 12 Hours, 7a-7p with rotating weekend and holiday requirements
Full-time; Days

The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.

The expected pay for this position is listed below:

$35.00 - $42.50
