Job DescriptionThe Registered Dietitian reports to the Manager, Home Dialysis and Multi-Care Kidney Clinic.
Accountabilities:
- Provide nutrition intervention and education to renal patients
- Provide group-based education, individual counseling sessions and facilitates dietary workshops as needed
- Participate in peritoneal dialysis and pre-dialysis clinics
- Project work may be required
Qualifications- Practical training in an accredited practical program in Canada or equivalent
- Member in good standing (good character and conduct) and membership with the College of Dietitians of Ontario is required
- Language proficiency in English required
- Record of ethical and competent practice
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication and group facilitation skills
- Ability to work independently and with a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in an outpatient renal program would be an asset to this position
- Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record
- Travel between and work at all Osler sites required

Additional InformationHours: Currently days/evenings,8 hours shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
Salary:
Minimum: $43.30 per hour
Maximum: $55.47 per hour
