Westchester Gentle Dentistry continues to grow, we're looking for an additional compassionate and motivated
Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team in Port Chester, NY.
What You'll Do:As a Registered Dental Hygienist at WGD, you'll play an important role in our patients' overall experience and long-term oral health.
Your responsibilities will include:- Providing comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene care.
- Performing prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and fluoride treatments.
- Taking digital X-rays and other necessary diagnostic records.
- Completing periodontal charting and documenting dental and periodontal conditions.
- Reviewing patients' medical and dental histories.
- Educating patients about oral health, home care, and disease prevention.
- Helping patients understand recommended treatment and the importance of maintaining their oral health.
- Creating a comfortable, compassionate, and judgment-free experience, especially for patients who may have dental anxiety.
- Collaborating with our dentists and clinical team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
What We're Looking For:- Current New York State Registered Dental Hygienist license.
- Dental hygiene experience preferred.
- Experience taking digital X-rays.
- Dentrix experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependable, positive, and team-oriented.
- Compassionate and comfortable working with patients from a variety of backgrounds.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Compensation:$60-$65 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
