Full Job Description
Ensures the implementation of the sales strategy, guidelines and targets in a specified region, for the portfolio of a unit, in order to increase sales with all kinds of potential customers, and to achieve defined financial goals and sales targets. This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Regional Vice President to drive Imaging Sales in the hospital and non hospital market. Candidate must develop and manage key customer relationships and drive a team of sales professionals. This position will cover the New York City area. Responsibilities: • This role is responsible for directing sales efforts and achieving sales, revenue and market share objectives, expense and marketing objectives; developing relationships within hospitals at a C-level and direct experience developing strategy for account retention and new business development.  • Directs the overall operation for direct and/or channel sales, and delegates assignments to staff. • Directs overall sales efforts to attain orders, revenue and expense. • Directs strategy for retention of account base and development of new accounts. • Directs the development of strategic plans to penetrate accounts. • Executes corporate and/or organizational policies that may have a company-wide effect. • Manages and develops team. • Manages deal escalation process and responsible for quarterly business reports to the Zone General Manager. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: • Direct experience managing a sales organization within the capital equipment hospitals sales vertical • Direct experience driving a team of sales reps that work with long sales cycles and large quotas • 5+ years’ management, sales and clinical experience  • Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills • Strong business acumen, analytical and strategic thinking required • Ability to develop and foster teams • Capacity to manage cross functional initiatives • Effectively manages and resolves conflict • Relentless customer focus • Must be able to travel 50% or more as required • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience • MBA or Masters in a related field. • Typically 5+ years of successful experience in a directly related field or headquarters experience in modality or equivalent The base pay range for this position is: $159,200 - $218,900 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
