Missions
  • Support Program Teams to design optimal internal logistics flows, layouts, and equipment (including automation when relevant) to ensure competitiveness at RFQ and throughout serial life.
  • Guide plants in transforming their internal layout and flow organization by deploying best-in-class standards for internal logistics and equipment, and by supporting plant teams through diagnostics, simulation, layout optimization, and the development of actionable implementation plans, while adapting solutions intelligently to each site's specific constraints.
  • Develop skills of plant Supply Chain and technical teams and leaders by training them in flow improvement tools (PFEP, MIFD, VSM.)
  • Material Handling efficiency (MOD/part delivered)
  • Logistics surfaces efficiency (m2/part managed)
  • Intralogistics CAPEX and OPEX
  • External warehouse surface area

Activities
  • Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring that internal flow designs and equipment implementations fully comply with safety policies and support safe day-to-day operations.
  • Provide strategic input for complex quotations and program phases, embedding optimal internal flows, equipment concepts, and automation requirements from day one.
  • Lead VSM / MIFA / PFEP workshops and develop strategic, data-driven plant layout and flow transformation plans to improve performance and prepare Plants for future projects.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Internal Flows Engineering Standards, ensuring alignment with best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Deploy best-in-class internal logistics strategies (e.g., kitting, direct feeding, supermarket design, AGV/AMR integration) and ensure consistent implementation across plants.
  • Deliver training and share best practices across the Supply Chain community to strengthen capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Organize internal and external benchmarking to identify, evaluate, and disseminate innovative practices and new intralogistics solutions.

Qualification & Competencies requirements
  • Master's degree (Engineering and / or Supply Chain)
  • Minimum 10 years in internal logistics management / industrial operation / Supply Chain within automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Proven hands-on experience in designing internal flows, managing lean projects in an international environment.
  • Proven hands-on experience in leading and facilitating transformation workshops with multi-disciplinary teams in an international environment.
  • Expertise in Lean tools, Value Stream Mapping, Material and Information Flow Design, Plan For Every Part...
  • Expertise in intralogistics flows optimization within industrial environments.
  • Expertise in designing / reconfiguring plant layout and flows to improve intralogistics manpower, space, spend.
  • Knowledge in designing efficient internal transport systems Good (e.g., milk-run trains, conveyors, AGVs).
  • Knowledge of Digital Tools & Systems: MES, WMS, ERP, FMS.
  • Knowledge of AGVs, AMRs, conveyance and robotics.
  • knowledge of Intralogistics HSE standards.
  • Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders through strong leadership and change-management skills.
  • Ability to drive transformation in a matrix organization.
