Responsibilities of the
Regional Service Manager - Industrial include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, manage, and accomplish territory service strategies that attain targets set by corporate and regional management objectives
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction within area of responsibility
- Complete territory responsibilities to cover a broad range of customers
- Participate in development and coordination of field service schedules
- Oversee management of Service Technicians, Assemblers and Fabricators
- Participate in recruiting of Service Technicians
- Manage safety programs, schedules and records
- Oversee and manage fleet vehicle maintenance
- Oversight of shop organization and consistency across branches
- Involvement in all emerging technical issues
- Report all emerging issues to Regional VP, service employees and Project Managers
- Provide technical support to the field as indicated by the Regional VP
- Support all Regional Managers in their technical roles
- Make recommendations related to, and manage, capital equipment needs
- Participate in weekly communication meetings to assist in a final solution to emerging issues, to be aware of new issues, and to review service schedules with the team
- Manage regional technical training as directed by Regional VP and corporate per the following
- Assist in training program development
- Assist in development of technical diagnostic procedures
- Assist in training aid/equipment development
- Assist in scheduling instructor led training (both corporate and regional)
- Develop and support; training schedules and required materials with RSM Team
- Deliver technical training programs to internal and external customers
- Meet all budget and reporting targets
Qualifications of the
Regional Service Manager - Industrial include, but are not limited to:
- Bachelor's degree or 2 years technical degree preferred
- 10 years of industry and 5 years of management experience
- A strong mechanical equipment background is required, with specific rotating equipment experience preferred
- This position requires the individual to possess strong organizational skills, time management skills, and communication skills
- Acceptable driving record according to company guidelines
