Job Title: Regional Sales Representative - Mold Release SE

Reports to: Sales Manager, Mold Release & Metal Stamping

Exempt Status: Exempt

Full Time / Part Time: Full Time

Location: Remote

Position Summary:
Responsible for driving total sales of assigned product segments and SKUs within a defined territory. This includes managing relationships with distribution partners and end users, executing strategic growth initiatives, and ensuring compliance with administrative and reporting requirements.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a technical resource for customers, helping them identify and implement effective product and application solutions.
  • Develop and support new applications, products, and business opportunities based on customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot product, application, and process issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Conduct customer trials, product evaluations, and technical demonstrations; analyze results and provide recommendations.
  • Partner with Sales, R&D, Operations, Quality, and other functions to solve customer problems and bring opportunities to market.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and provide technical guidance throughout the sales and application development process.
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly through customer presentations, reports, and other technical materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product performance, expand existing applications, and develop new markets.
  • Lead or support strategic initiatives that strengthen the business and improve customer value.
  • Manage multiple customer projects and priorities while maintaining a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Travel from 50 to 60% to customer sites, company facilities, industry events, and other locations as needed (including overnights)


Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, technical service, product development, process engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role.
  • Experience in sales in the chemical, specialty chemical, materials, or related industrial sector.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, build alignment, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Strong technical, analytical, strategic problem-solving, and business skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to translate customer needs and technical challenges into practical business solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, R&D, Operations, Quality, and other functions.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Advanced experience with Excel, Proficiency with other Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ownership, initiative, accountability, and ability to drive results in a changing environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, build alignment, and drive strategic initiatives.


Compensation Information:

112,000 Plus Bonus
