Full Job Description
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for leading the sales efforts in all or part of a Region. Works closely with the Regional Director and the Director of Sales & Customer Service in executing sales strategy and with maximizing of Outside Sales efforts. Responsible for overall Sales and Gross Margin Dollars with an emphasis on large opportunities in new accounts and within existing accounts. Assist with Company initiatives and programs across all Regions.

Essential Functions:
  • Results - Responsible for overall Sales and Gross Margin Dollar performance in defined Region as measured against prior years and current budget. Focus efforts on large opportunities in new accounts (GNC) and within existing accounts. (SGR+)
  • Company Programs - Support strategic initiatives and programs as decided by Senior Management. This includes any product, vendor or marketing programs. Support National Accounts efforts in your area. Help across regions in areas of expertise. As needed, assist with sales efforts in other geographies to help with expansion opportunities.
  • Sales and Coaching - Responsible for high level management of leads and opportunities in the Region. Provide feedback to the Sales Development Team. Work with Business Managers to help with coaching Outside Sales as needed, with a focus on Best Business Practices and Pipeline Management.
  • Communication - Share success stories and ideas with other Regional Sales Managers and Directors. Encourage reps in your region to submit Application Success Stories. Active participation in monthly RSM conference calls. Communicate company-wide observations and ideas with the Director of Sales. Share information with your Regional Director and also Managers and Sales within your Region. Document sales visits and customer information in CRM (Sales Visits, Interactions, Leads, Opportunities).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Specific Requirements:
  • Accustomed to managing a territory and list of prospects and clients.
  • Accustomed to dealing at the senior and decision making levels within large organizations.
  • Ability to develop and present information to small and large groups of employees or customers.
  • Experience in selling multiple service offerings and ability to present solutions to prospective customers to meet their business goals.
  • Ability to identify key opportunities and pursue new business prospects.
  • A seasoned closer willing to leverage the network of customers for new and add-on sales.
  • Strong PC proficiency and familiarity SAP and other with web searching.
  • Ability to travel by plane or car.
