What we're looking for:

Informa Markets is seeking a full-time Regional Sales Manager for its Farm Progress Agricultural Portfolio. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience, expertise and knowledge of creating innovative media packages for a defined set of clients. The candidate should have sales experience and preferably a background knowledge of agriculture. The candidate should be knowledgeable in all aspect of media-with a strong focus on digital, print and events.

Role Accountability and Duties:
  • To meet/exceed an annual sales goal and key KPI's
  • Prospect, seek and generate new business opportunities within your assigned geography
  • Develop timely need-based proposals-incorporating all appropriate tools at your disposal
  • Keen understanding of all products within the portfolio-current and future
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive product innovation
  • Effective time, travel and expense management.
  • Appropriate participation in conferences and events-both internal and external
  • Up to 40% travel
  • Timely and accurate reporting of sales, activities and market knowledge
  • Perform additional tasks as required

Additional Information:
  • Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 plus commission
  • Remote working in Iowa state. This is an essential job requirement to ensure effective territory coverage and maintain strong customer relationships
