Full Job Description
PPG is looking for a Regional Process Technology Manager to join our team! Specialized in Manufacturing/Process Improvements, you will manage various plant processes and systems and technologies. You will interface with several plant stakeholders. You will work closely with operations and Technolgy labs to troubleshoot, develop, and implement strategies to continuously improve plant operations. You will report to the Director - Asset and Technology Powder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the regional expert for plant technical issues by providing proactive analytical skills to troubleshoot and problem solve processes within the plant.
  • Collaborate with Technical on new product development, leading introduction of new technologies and scale up in all plants in the region.
  • Lead all production transfers among the USCA region as well as different regions.
  • Lead Process Engineering roundtables aligning consistency and prioritizing process improvements initiatives.
  • Serve as Regional Continuous Improvement Lead, supporting regional projects as well as managing plant specific projects.
  • Network with other Global Process Engineering team, sharing and implementing best practices in the region.
  • Capacity Modelling the plants and understanding the constrains.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related technical field preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with Powder Coatings
  • Working knowledge of process improvements, process design and optimization, quality assurance process and procedures.
  • Ability to successfully manage regional teams
  • Proven experience with project management
  • Lead cross functional teams.
