Job Summary

Manages and grows CityServiceValcon's Plant operations and associated physical assets. Directs specific Plant location's employees, operations and facilities in a profitable manner to manage existing business and target, solicit and acquire new prospective accounts. Develops, maintains and implements quality control procedures for all business lines from CSV warehouses to customer facilities. Provides outstanding service and quality products in a professional and profitable manner with honesty, integrity, teamwork, employee development and excellence in relationships. Develops strong teams through leadership by providing meaningful coaching, feedback and training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicate and exemplify CityServiceValcon's commitment to employee and customer engagement; actively works with assigned staff to advance our reputation in the communities in which we operate.
  • Manage workflow to determine priorities and ensure appropriate resource allocation.
  • Establish a strong working relationship among drivers, service technicians, dispatchers and customer care specialists that is customer focused to drive customer growth.
  • Provide leadership consistent with company values by setting clear work expectations, performance goals, and holding employees accountable for their performance.
  • Exceed customer expectations on every level by avoiding service failures with pro-active strategies and provide products/services that attract customers.
  • Maintain financial performance by monitoring product costs, personnel, plant, office, and vehicle expense.
  • Implement marketing plans to achieve annual growth objectives.
  • Ensure safety policies and procedures are being followed to meet all Federal, State, and CSV standards.
  • Communicate and document employee work performance, provide feedback on a timely basis, and fully document all employee relation concerns.
  • Interview, hire, and train employees.

  • Ability to hear with or without corrective devices.

  • May be exposed to extreme noise, heat, cold, or atmospheric conditions and workplace hazards or potential injuries that are more frequent than normal.
