Regional Manager - Nursing Home Food Service to oversee dining operations across multiple facilities, ensuring financial performance, regulatory compliance, staffing, client relationships and operational results.
The Regional Food Service Manager provides leadership, support, and operational oversight to multiple food service departments. This role partners with Food Service Directors and facility leadership to drive excellence in culinary operations, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and team development.
Regional Manager Nursing Home Food Service Key Responsibilities- Provide operational support and leadership to multiple healthcare facilities.
- Mentor and develop Food Service Directors and department teams.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations, including sanitation and food safety standards.
- Monitor food quality, resident satisfaction, and service excellence.
- Manage food and labor costs while meeting budget goals.
- Conduct facility audits and implement corrective action plans.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new Food Service Directors.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Regional Manager Nursing Home Food Service Qualifications- Minimum 3-5 years of food service management experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care.
- Multi-site management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare, food service regulations, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and food service management systems.
- ServSafe Certification preferred.
