Lead. Develop. Drive Results. Make an Impact. As Regional Manager, you will serve as the business leader for your portfolio, partnering closely with Community Managers, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams to maximize financial performance, operational excellence, resident satisfaction, and team success.
Why This Role MattersThis isn't a role where you'll simply review reports and attend meetings. You'll be in the communities, with the teams, digging into the business and driving meaningful change.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Own the financial and operational performance of an assigned portfolio, including revenue, expenses, NOI, occupancy, leasing, renewals, and collections.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting while helping Community Managers understand the financial drivers behind their communities.
- Identify performance gaps, uncover root causes, and turn insights into clear action plans with measurable results.
- Evaluate capital needs and major vendor relationships to support community quality and financial performance.
- Maintain a deep understanding of each community's market, competitors, pricing, concessions, new supply, and other factors impacting performance.
- Conduct regular community visits and ensure each property delivers on curb appeal, maintenance, resident experience, safety, staffing, and operational standards.
- Partner with Marketing, Revenue Management, Human Resources, Maintenance, Capital, Accounting, and other teams to solve problems and improve results.
Build Great LeadersAt the heart of this role is people leadership.
You'll coach, challenge, and develop Community Managers while creating a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. You'll identify high-potential talent, build succession plans, support recruiting and retention, and help develop the next generation of multifamily leaders.
Be the Strategic Voice for Your PortfolioThe Regional Manager is expected to think ahead-not simply react.
You'll monitor market conditions, operating trends, pricing, leasing, retention, reputation, and other performance indicators to identify risks and opportunities before they materially impact the business. You'll bring thoughtful recommendations to executive leadership and communicate performance clearly, including the root cause, recommended action, ownership, and expected timeline for resolution.

You should bring:
