What you'll do:The Regional Manager, Finance Operations leads the development and execution of rolling forecasts, strategic financial planning, and capital budgeting for Loyola Medicine (IL) and Saint Joseph Health System (IN). This role partners with regional leadership to drive financial performance, provide actionable insights, and support informed decision-making.
- Lead the development of monthly, multi-year, and long-term revenue and expense forecasts
- Oversee the rolling forecast process, including submissions, reporting, and variance analysis
- Facilitate the development and management of the capital budget, including project prioritization and portfolio oversight
- Monitor financial performance against forecasts and identify opportunities for improvement
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to executive leadership
- Partner with Finance and operational leaders to support ministry-specific forecasting and planning
- Develop and maintain reporting tools and ensure accessibility of financial data for department leaders
- Lead financial education initiatives (e.g., Lunch & Learns) to enhance financial literacy across the organization
- Collaborate with Accounting leadership during month-end close to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and operational decisions
- Maintain strong collaboration with Trinity Health System Office and regional leadership
Leadership Responsibilities:- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals
- Provide direction, prioritize workload, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Lead performance management, including hiring, coaching, and development
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Ensure cross-training to build team depth and operational flexibility
What's required:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of previous job-related experience.
- 3-5 years of managerial experience
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred.
Compensation:Pay range: $96,782- $159,702
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
