Full Job Description
Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Provider Network Development, the Regional Field Operations Recruiter is responsible for identifying and engaging prospective residential trades contractors to join our Network Provider program within an assigned 10-12 state territory. This role includes evaluating contractor businesses, negotiating service rates, and coordinating all compliance and onboarding requirements. The recruiter will travel throughout the market-approximately 30% of the time-to meet with prospects and support recruitment efforts.

While this position is remote, we are only considering candidates in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Identify, source, and recruit prospective residential trades contractors across the assigned territory.
  • Conduct business evaluations to determine provider suitability, capacity, and alignment with program standards.
  • Lead rate negotiations and discuss service expectations with prospective providers.
  • Aiding of provider onboarding, including compliance documentation, credential verification, and confirmation of qualifications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors to support long term network stability and performance.
  • Partner with Provider Network Development Manager and Field Operations leadership to understand market needs, capacity gaps, and recruitment priorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, pipeline status, and onboarding progress.
  • Represent the organization professionally during in person meetings, site visits, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Compliance, Legal, Operations) to ensure smooth and timely onboarding.
  • Monitor market conditions and contractor trends to inform recruitment strategy.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to OHS core values and behaviors.

Experience and Qualifications of the Role

  • 2+ years of recruiting and/or managing third party contractors.
  • 3+ years prior trade experience required with a background and understanding of plumbing, heating, electrical, or similar environment.
  • Strongly preferred: Experience working within residential trades - specifically plumbing, HVAC, and/or electrical - including backgrounds ranging from technical field roles to supervisory or management positions.
  • Understanding of consultative selling skills (Introduction, Probing, Handling Objections, Identifying Buying Signals).
  • Strong oral and written communications skills with emphasis on negotiation and collaboration.
  • Strong MS Office skills.

Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365.

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • Valid U.S. Driver's License

The base pay range for this position is $70,210 - $99,120 USD Annual. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set. The compensation offered may also include an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive plan or commission target.
