Regional Director of Therapy . Provide expert-level support and guidance related to therapy services across VOANS Healthcare programs, ensuring high-quality, compliant, effective, and operationally efficient rehabilitation services. This is a remote role with preference given to candidates in MN, CO, FL, VA, where we have senior living campus.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:Regional Director of Therapy- Provide expert-level support and guidance related to therapy services across VOANS Healthcare programs, ensuring high-quality, compliant, effective, and operationally efficient rehabilitation services.
- Partners with operational and clinical leadership to provide subject matter expertise in Physical Therapy and broader rehabilitation services (PT, OT, SLP).
- Supports the evaluation and improvement of therapy practices, documentation, utilization, productivity, operational and financial performance, and outcomes across service lines.
- Resource to the organization, offering recommendations, education, data analysis, and system-level support while reinforcing the accountability of operational leadership for therapy services performance and outcomes.
- Maintaining awareness of regulatory requirements, reimbursement models, industry best practices, and emerging trends in rehabilitation services and contributes to consistent, high-quality, and operationally efficient therapy services across the organization.
Education:Minimum Requirement: Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree (e.g., Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)) or related advanced education.
• Current and unencumbered license as a Physical Therapist (PT) in at least one state where VOANS operates is required.
• Ability to obtain licensure in additional states as needed to support organizational operations.
• Relevant specialty certifications (e.g., geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics) are preferred.
Experience:• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in Physical Therapy practice with a significant portion in post-acute care settings, PACE, or Home Health.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in leadership, supervisory, or program development roles within therapy services.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or overseeing therapy operations across multiple sites or programs is preferred.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and other payor requirements impacting therapy services, including documentation, reimbursement, and utilization management.
• Proven ability to evaluate clinical and operational performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and support implementation of effective solutions.
