Full Job Description
Regional Director of Education, the most senior academic leadership role within the region.

Working closely with the Regional Managing Director, Regional Director of Operations, and Global Director of Education, the successful candidate will lead strategy, performance, and compliance across the 36 campuses within the North America region while developing strong leadership capability at every level of the organization.

This role provides leadership to the Senior Educational Leadership Team, including Regional Principals, Directors of Teaching and Learning, Director of Student Support, and Director of Safeguarding. The successful candidate will ensure strong alignment between regional priorities and global education strategy while building a high-performance leadership culture across the North American region.

The Role

The Regional Director of Education will:
  • Lead educational strategy and academic performance across all 36 North American campuses
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team of senior education leaders
  • Ensure strong governance, compliance, and quality assurance across campuses
  • Strengthen leadership capability across campus leadership teams
  • Align curriculum, teaching practice, and systems with global education strategy
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Champion a results-driven academic culture across all 36 campuses in North America that prioritizes student mastery, teacher effectiveness, and long-term educational outcomes
  • Lead the Regional Education Management team so the priorities are on the development and implementation of high-impact instructional strategies that drive measurable gains in student learning and align with our Learning to Learn Framework
  • Hold Regional leadership accountable for student achievement through clear performance metrics, data transparency, and continuous improvement cycles in internal/external exams
  • Travel required throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean


The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a strategic educational leader with a proven record of leading excellence across multiple schools or campuses.

They will bring:
  • Significant experience as a Superintendent, Principal and/or senior educational leader
  • Experience leading education strategy across multi-site or distributed school systems
  • A strong track record of improving student achievement and teaching quality
  • Experience leading senior leadership teams and driving organizational change
  • Strong understanding of education governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
  • At minimum, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Leadership, with an activePrincipal and Superintendent license
