Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in steel detailing and team management
• Demonstrated leadership in project oversight
• Strong proficiency in computer applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding time management and prioritization skills
• Associate degree in drafting or similar discipline
• Familiarity with Tekla and/or 3D modeling software
• Knowledge of current building codes and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and contract specifications

Responsibilities

• Manage hiring, training, and mentoring of the detailing team in the region
• Oversee project schedules for timely drawing submissions
• Ensure project detailing meets accuracy and standard compliance
• Produce 3D models, shop drawings, assembly, and erection drawings
• Analyze and select steel member connections for projects
• Submit Requests for Information (RFIs) to clients
• Perform final checks on drawings for adherence to contract documents
