Full Job Description
We are mobilizing a team of leaders and subject matter experts within HDR to support a multi-year technology development and implementation project. These leaders and subject matter experts will be fully utilized on this technology implementation, creating several permanent openings within our team to backfill these individuals in supporting day-to-day accounting & finance activities.
The Regional Billing Manager will lead a team responsible for implementing approved billing procedures, overseeing billing and contract compliance, and maintaining company controls for assigned regions. This individual will be an ongoing, integral part of leading the continued development of system processes and company policies.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise a team of Billing Specialists who support project teams in providing clients with accurate and timely client invoices in a high volume, fast paced environment while complying with company policies
• Inspire, counsel, and enable the development of team members
• Partner with project teams and operations accounting leads to maintain compliance with client contract terms and company policies
• Evaluate internal and external processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiencies within client billing and reduce days' sales outstanding (DSO)
• Lead and/or assist with the execution of Central Billing's strategic initiatives while meeting established key performance indicators (KPIs) and deadlines
• Work with leadership to develop, implement, and continually monitor KPIs that assist in evaluating performance, and assist teammates and internal stakeholders to make improvements where necessary
• Provide training and support to internal and external teams related to billing, contracts, and project costing to ensure these processes are well understood, efficient, and adjusted as stakeholder needs evolve.
• Maintain accounting controls within the billing process and ensure compliance with HDR policies and risks, while maintaining focus on process speed, accuracy, and usability
Preferred Qualifications
• Supervisory experience
• Bachelors degree in a closely related field
• Oracle EBS experience
• A/E/C industry experience
• Preference given to local candidates

Required Qualifications
• A minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• Up to 10% travel
• Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Self-motivated, flexible, well-organized and detail-oriented
• Must be a strong team leader able to work with a variety of people in a fast paced, dead-line driven environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
