About the Job

The Regional ADS Manager is responsible for overseeing Automated Dispensing System (ADS/CUBEX) operations throughout the Midwest region. This leadership role supports ADS operations, field technicians, facility partnerships, inventory management, compliance initiatives, and operational standardization across multiple states and facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee ADS/CUBEX operations across assigned facilities and states.
  • Ensure operational consistency, inventory accountability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor replenishment workflows, inventory levels, and medication management processes.
  • Support ADS implementations, expansions, and operational improvements.
  • Develop and maintain standardized ADS procedures and workflows.
  • Manage and support field technicians and ADS support personnel.
  • Coordinate technician schedules, coverage, and route planning.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with facility leadership and nursing staff.
  • Respond to operational concerns, escalations, and service-related issues.
  • Conduct audits and investigate inventory discrepancies and operational variances.
  • Support quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide routine on-site support and travel throughout the assigned region.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Travel Requirements:
  • Routine travel throughout the Midwest region.
  • Estimated travel of 50-75%.
  • Overnight travel required based on operational needs.

Reporting Structure:
Reports to Director of Pharmacy Operations and Executive Pharmacy Leadership.

Works closely with Pharmacists in Charge, Facility Leadership, Account Management, Purchasing, Billing, Pharmacy Operations Teams, and Field Technicians.

Coverage Area:
Primary states may include Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana, Virginia, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Coverage areas may expand based on operational growth and business needs.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of Long-Term Care pharmacy experience required.
  • Leadership or management experience preferred.
  • Experience with automated dispensing systems, including CUBEX, Omnicell, Pyxis, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple facilities and priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and medication accountability practices.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pharmacist license preferred.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
  • Multi-site operational management experience.
  • Experience supervising field-based employees.
  • Knowledge of LTC pharmacy operations, compliance standards, and controlled substance accountability.
