About The RoleThe Region Manager will oversee operations and execution of their region while leading a team of Carrier Success reps, ensuring that team metrics are met and the Carrier Success strategies are executed effectively. This role is pivotal in driving accountability, providing support, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team. The Region Manager will lead by example, offering guidance and coaching to their team members.
Core ResponsibilitiesLoad Board Management / Offer Manager
- Responsible for driving offers and accountability on freight in their assigned region
- Offer Manager action and oversight
- Owning internal communications with customer teams regarding coverage and rates
- Proactively monitoring load board build up to drive the right conversations early
Region Performance
- Monitoring buying, GP, pooling and service metrics for region and understand when to call out necessary adjustments
- Drive strategic carrier network growth both on region freight to build network density and drive down buying
People Management
- Monitoring performance metrics of team at a rep level, highlighting performance on a weekly cadence
- Performance management and coaching conversations at a rep level on a monthly basis
- Driving engagement and buy in with team to support region performance and carrier strategy initiatives
Qualifications- Strong industry and market knowledge, with the ability to understand regional freight dynamics, carrier coverage, and market trends.
- Proven people leadership skills, including coaching, feedback, accountability, and team development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and judgment skills, especially in fast-paced, time-sensitive situations.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple responsibilities at once while staying organized.
- Operational mindset with a focus on execution, follow-through, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and turn insights into action.
- Comfortable leading by example and driving a culture of accountability and teamwork.
CompensationThe base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $88,000 per year + variable compensation. This reflects typical earning potential in this role based on market data and individual factors including skill sets, experience, and geographic location. In addition to salary, full-time employees are eligible for an equity package and competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Flock Freight.
