Full Job Description
ClariMed is seeking a Recruitment Lead to lead participant recruitment efforts across our research studies. This role is focused specifically on identifying, recruiting, screening, and engaging participants for research studies and is not an employee or talent acquisition position.

The Recruitment Lead will work closely with project teams to understand study requirements, develop effective recruitment strategies, manage recruitment activities, and ensure studies meet participant enrollment goals and timelines. The ideal candidate is highly organized, resourceful, comfortable managing multiple studies at once, and skilled at connecting with diverse participant populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead participant recruitment efforts across multiple research studies, from initial planning through enrollment completion.
  • Partner with project teams to understand study objectives, participant criteria, recruitment targets, and timelines.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies tailored to each study and target population.
  • Identify and utilize appropriate recruitment channels, including participant databases, community outreach, referrals, digital platforms, and other sources.
  • Conduct or coordinate participant outreach, pre-screening, scheduling, and follow-up.
  • Track recruitment progress and proactively adjust strategies when enrollment goals or timelines are at risk.
  • Maintain accurate and organized participant and recruitment records while ensuring appropriate confidentiality and data privacy.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective participants, providing a professional and positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate closely with project teams to ensure recruited participants meet study-specific eligibility requirements.
  • Manage recruitment timelines, priorities, and resources across multiple concurrent studies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations, communities, and recruitment partners that can support participant sourcing.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular updates on enrollment progress, challenges, and anticipated needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, tools, communication, and participant engagement.
  • Support the development of recruitment materials and outreach messaging as needed.
  • Ensure recruitment activities are conducted in accordance with study protocols, internal procedures, and applicable ethical and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in participant recruitment, clinical research, human factors research, market research, healthcare research, or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit and engage participants across a variety of populations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple studies and competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with prospective participants.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where recruitment needs and priorities may shift.
