ABOUT THE JOBAs a key member of Anduril's recruiting team, you will be a specialized
Security Recruiter, responsible for attracting and hiring world-class
Security talent. You will play a critical role in our continued rapid growth, bringing a strategic and hands-on approach to building our security and compliance organization. You will collaborate closely with Security Leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver on ambitious hiring needs. To achieve this, you will be given the autonomy and tools to execute on our strategy to build and develop Anduril's world-class team. We are looking for someone who can handle every aspect of the security recruiting lifecycle and is excited to be part of a small, impactful team where no task is too big or too small.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Conduct in-depth interviews of potential Physical Security, Personnel Security (FSO), and Government Compliance candidates, demonstrating the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview-to-offer ratios.
- Engage passive security professionals using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strings, referrals, SOBO campaigns, and specialized security networks, professional associations, and industry events.
- Partner closely with Security Leadership (VP of Security, Directors of Security) to understand team needs, define role requirements, and craft compelling value propositions specifically for high-clearance and technical security talent.
- Drive a diverse talent pipeline into the organization, ensuring a positive and highly secure candidate experience at every touchpoint, from initial outreach to cleared-offer acceptance.
- Represent Anduril's brand and recruiting team internally and externally, articulating our unique business model, defense-tech scale, and the mission-critical impact of our security organization.
- Leverage internal resources and market insights to build strategies around selling our value proposition to top-tier security talent in a highly competitive market.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of direct, full-cycle recruiting experience specifically focused on security roles, including Physical Security, and Personnel Security (FSO/CSSO) operations.
- Proven experience conducting thorough competency assessments and evaluating security capabilities (e.g., threat intelligence, incident response, network security, risk management, and physical asset protection) against technical and cultural requirements.
- Deep understanding of the security landscape, including current industry trends, industry-standard certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CPP, PSP), and familiarity with government clearance processes (Secret, Top Secret, SCI).
- Experience managing strategic stakeholder relationships, particularly with Security Leaders and Hiring Managers, driving strategic recruiting efforts based on business needs, profile calibration, and providing transparent pipeline progress via reporting.
- Experience acting in a consultative manner, where your guidance on market conditions, talent availability, and candidate expectations has led to improved outcomes and a positive candidate experience within the security and defense space.
- Clear and effective communication with security candidates to understand their motivation, drivers, and cultural fit within a fast-paced, high-impact organization.
- Experience managing various funnels of security candidates (including cleared pipelines) and keeping track of their progress throughout the recruitment process using an ATS.
- Highly autonomous but highly collaborative, thriving in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information, facilities, and the necessity to discuss classified program support requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience recruiting security professionals within a defense technology, aerospace, intelligence community (IC), or government contracting (GovCon) environment.
- Experience recruiting for senior to leadership-level security roles (e.g., Directors, ISSMs, Chief Information Security Officers) within a complex product, hardware-software, or advanced manufacturing environment.
- A strong network within the defense and cybersecurity communities and familiarity with local and national professional security associations.
- Multiple years of experience working at an agency or fast-paced startup environment, particularly one with a strong product, engineering, or mission-driven culture.
