Real World Data Programmer

We are seeking a remote Real-World Data (RWD) Programmer / Data Analyst for our LVA research and evidence capabilities team with strong healthcare data experience to support internal research initiatives. This role is programming-focused and requires hands-on experience working with healthcare claims data and EMR data.

The ideal candidate is a data programmer, not a biostatistician or data scientist, with deep experience preparing and programming real-world datasets for research use.

What You Will Do:

You will provide programming, and analytics support for real world evidence generation including analytics, research, dashboard creation etc. While project scope is still evolving, expected responsibilities include:

• Programming and managing real-world healthcare datasets, including:
  • Healthcare claims data
  • EMR data

• Performing data cleaning, transformation, and normalization prior to analysis
• Translating raw data into analysis-ready datasets
• Creating and maintaining data dictionaries and programming documentation
• Supporting internal research teams with hands-on analyst and programming support
• Contributing to broader analytics efforts as needed

Your Profile:

• Advanced degree, PhD, in quantitative field with 3+ years of experience (e.g. statistics, epidemiology, public health) or a Master's degree in analytics related field with 7+ years of experience in real world data and real-world evidence generation
• Strong programming experience (SQL and R)
• Direct experience programming Real-World Data (RWD)
• Hands-on experience with healthcare claims data
• Experience working with EMR data
