Position SummaryThis position will serve as a supervisor of staff performing a combination of the following functions: appraisal, negotiations, acquisition, litigation, land management, local program and property management. This position provides direction for a multi-focused unit whose members work independently to provide products or services. This position will interpret and apply policy within its programmatic area and directly supervise staff. This includes broad leadership responsibility to coordinate resources and develop staff, apply technical expertise in decision-making, fulfill a management role in policy development and implementation, and determine ways and means of accomplishing mission-critical objectives.
Salary InformationThis position is in schedule-range (81-03) with an
annual salary of $72,800 - $96,907, plus excellent benefits. A twelve-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.
QualificationsQualified applicants will have experience with all the following: - The development, implementation, coordination and/or monitoring of real estate related activities. (Activities may include: acquisitions, appraisals, negotiations, eminent domain law, litigation, etc.)
- Mentoring, leading, and/or advising others to accomplish work objectives.
- Communicating technical information, processes, or policies to internal or external customers/stakeholders.
