The Real Estate Director will guide franchisees through the site selection process, ensuring high-quality locations that set them up for long-term success. This is a critical role in supporting Sport Clips' strategic growth plan and maintaining our industry-leading standards of excellence.
What You'll Do- Lead the real estate strategy and site selection process within the Western US.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with brokers, landlords, and developers.
- Collaborate with franchisees (Team Leaders) to meet development goals and execute annual growth plans.
- Partner with Regional Directors of Operations to align real estate strategy with operational objectives.
- Develop and maintain a dynamic market optimization strategy with the support of the Real Estate Analyst.
- Track and manage the real estate development funnel to achieve annual growth targets, including:
- Identifying 100+ quality real estate opportunities per year.
- Driving conversions of 50+ sites accepted, 40+ committee-approved, 35+ leases signed, and 30+ stores opened annually.
- Ensure all locations meet Sport Clips' high standards for site quality and long-term performance.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in real estate site selection and optimization (franchise or retail experience strongly preferred).
- 3-5 years of franchising experience a plus.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong broker networks and landlord relationships.
- Experience working directly with franchisees or multi-unit operators.
- Strong leadership skills with experience collaborating across teams.
- Demonstrated success in planning, implementing, and optimizing market growth strategies.
- Willingness to travel 50%+ of the time within the Western US.
This is a remote position.
Compensation: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
