Full Job Description
Purpose of the Role:

Mandelbaum Barrett PC is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join our Roseland, NJ office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and commercial lending matters. The role involves representing lenders, borrowers, developers, investors, and business owners in a broad range of commercial real estate and related business transactions. Experience with zoning, land use, title, due diligence, and deal structuring matters is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, financing agreements, and development-related contracts.
  • Represent lenders and borrowers in commercial financing transactions, including acquisition, construction, bridge, and permanent financing matters.
  • Conduct due diligence, review title and survey materials, and assist with transaction structuring.
  • Manage commercial real estate closings from inception through post-closing.
  • Advise clients on zoning, land use, permitting, title, and regulatory matters.
  • Assist with business and transactional matters related to real estate ownership, development, and investment activities.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas on complex commercial transactions.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $170,000-$225,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Final salary reflects your skills, experience, and contributions.
