Real Estate Accounting Manager to join our growing team!
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and maintaining monthly accounting records and financial reports for an assigned property portfolio.
- Lease administration ensuring accurate and timely billing of rent/NNN and compliance with lease terms
- Assisting with the onboarding of new properties, including due diligence.
- Conducting regular audits/reconciliations to ensure compliance with accounting standards and lease documents.
- Communication with clients, tenants, and lenders, both written and verbal.
- Budgeting and forecasting with the property management team to develop and maintain accurate property budgets.
- Collaborating with the property management team to analyze financial performance.
- Assisting in the review of monthly financial reports, annual budgets, and NNN reconciliations prepared by accounting team members.
- Coordinate cash management functions, including reviewing and initiating money transfer transactions (ACH and wire transfers).
- Providing analysis and insights to support decision-making efforts.
- Mentoring accounting staff, offering guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Continuing education courses as a part of career development.

Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of industry experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
- Excel and property management software proficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to pass a background and credit check.
