The Team:
Our Ratings Operating Committee (OpCo) is led by our President of Ratings, and this group collectively plays a critical role in executing the organisation’s credit ratings strategy.
The Impact:
The primary focus of the role is to amplify the impact of both the President of S&P Global Ratings and the wider OpCo. This role will report intothePresident of S&P Global Ratings.
This means being a central intelligence and execution layer for the organisation amplifying leadership effectiveness through AI-enabled operations, automation, and data-driven decision systems, while upholding Ratings’ high standards of analytical rigour, governance, and trust.
You will increasingly operate at the intersection of strategy, analytics, technology, risk/governance, and execution, helping ensure the organisation evolves with precision and leverages machine-augmented capabilities in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities:
Optimisation of President’s time, and of the wider OpCo: Manage and prioritise the President’s focus by triaging requests and aligning time allocation to the highest-value decisions and strategic priorities.
Impact coordination: Proactively collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure complete briefing documents for highest impact meetings. Coordinate and optimise the President’s travel alongside EA to maximise impact (including clear objectives, stakeholder prioritisation, etc.).
OpCo operating cadence: Own the end-to-end operating rhythm for OpCo, including agenda setting, pre-read alignment, and disciplined facilitation to ensure focused discussions and clear outcomes.
Executive materials & presentation excellence: Develop high-impact presentations and pre-reads with strong narrative structure, including structured briefing notes, risks and effective data visualization to support decision-making, especially for QBRs.
Decision & action management: Maintain decision logs and action tracking, ensuring clear ownership, timely follow-through, and escalation of risks to drive measurable outcomes.
Town halls & internal communications: Partner with Communications to deliver high-quality town halls and ensure consistent, clear cascades of strategy, priorities, and decisions across the division.
Executive offsites & critical forums: Plan and deliver offsites and key meetings end-to-end, ensuring clear objectives, effective facilitation, and actionable outputs.
Operational effectiveness & process improvement: Identify and address inefficiencies in operating processes, implementing streamlined approaches that improve speed, clarity, and reliability.
Cross-functional execution: Drive alignment and coordination across teams to ensure priority initiatives progress effectively and remain aligned to strategic objectives. This includes building and maintaining a strong network with other Chiefs of Staff across S&P Global, sharing best practices, aligning on enterprise priorities, and mobilising the right connections to accelerate execution and amplify impact across Ratings and the wider organisation.
Performance visibility & reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting that provide clear visibility on execution health, enabling faster, data-driven decisions.
AI-enabled productivity & automation: Design and implement AI enabled workflows that remove manual, low leverage work and improve quality and cycle time; this includes embedding LLM powered tools into day-to-day operations, deploying automation and agentic workflows where appropriate, and partnering with Data/Engineering to identify and scale high ROI use cases with the right controls.
Governance, judgment & confidentiality: Operate with discretion and sound judgment, supporting governance processes and escalating risks appropriately.

Compensation/Benefits Information:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $300,000 depending on location, experience, and skills. This role is eligible for an annual cash incentive plan, a long-term incentive plan, and additional S&P Global benefits. What We’re Looking For:
Proven ability to optimise senior executive effectiveness, including prioritising time, triaging inputs, and ensuring focus on the highest value decisions and strategic priorities.
Strong organisational and planning capability, with experience supporting complex executive cadences (e.g., OpCo, QBRs), coordinating inputs, and ensuring well-structured, high-quality materials and discussions.
Highly effective at executive synthesis and communication, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, concise, decision-ready narratives and presentations.
Exceptional execution discipline, with a track record of managing cross-functional initiatives, tracking decisions and actions, and ensuring timely follow-through and delivery against priorities.
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align senior leaders and teams across a global, matrixed organisation and maintain momentum across competing priorities.
Experience planning and supporting high-impact forums (e.g., offsites, town halls, critical meetings), ensuring clear objectives, strong facilitation, and actionable outcomes.
Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to define KPIs, build performance narratives, and translate insights into clear actions and decisions.
Strong fluency in AI, automation, and emerging technologies, with hands-on experience applying LLMs and workflow automation to improve operating efficiency, decision-making, and scalability.
Systems thinker with a product mindset, focused on building repeatable, scalable processes and embedding AI-enabled ways of working into day-to-day operations.
High level of business judgment, discretion, and emotional intelligence, with the ability to operate effectively in sensitive, high-stakes environments and navigate complex governance structures.
Additional Information:
Employees are required to work from the office a minimum of two days per week.
