As the evening unfolds, you'll move between a variety of cases and patient needs. One moment, you're helping a patient feel comfortable before an exam. The next, you're partnering with nurses, physicians, and fellow imaging professionals to support urgent patient care. You'll use modern imaging equipment, apply your technical expertise, and know that the images you produce play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients across the hospital.

What Your Evenings Will Look LikeYou'll spend your shift:
- Welcoming patients and helping them feel at ease before their imaging exams
- Performing diagnostic x-ray examinations using advanced imaging technology
- Supporting patients throughout their visit with compassionate, patient-centered care
- Moving throughout the hospital to complete portable imaging studies when patients cannot travel to the department
- Assisting with fluoroscopic and surgical imaging procedures as needed
- Using your positioning and technical expertise to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Working closely with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to support excellent patient outcomes
- Maintaining radiation safety standards while creating a safe environment for patients, visitors, and coworkers
- Required Credentials
- ARRT-R certification
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist license
- BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)

Working Conditions
This role requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and the use of fine motor skills while operating medical equipment. The ability to occasionally lift and move up to 30 pounds and assist with patient handling (up to 35 pounds, with assistive devices as appropriate) is required. Regular exposure to biohazards, bodily fluids, and airborne particles is expected. Vision, hearing, and communication abilities sufficient to safely perform the essential functions of the position are required.
