Radiology Manager Position Summary The Radiology Manager is responsible for assisting the Medical Imaging Director in overseeing the day -to-day operations of the Medical Imaging Department, which includes Diagnostic Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Cat Scan, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound/Vascular, and Interventional Radiology. The Radiology Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of high-quality service to patients while also providing leadership and guidance to the team of imaging technologists.
Radiology Manager Position Requirements Education- Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiology.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
License and/or certification- Must be a registered Radiologic technologist with the ARRT
- Licensure from the Maryland Board of Physicians Quality Assurance to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Maryland is required.
- Additional certifications in imaging specialty(CT, IR, NM, US/VASC, MRI) is preferred.
Experience- Minimum five (5) years as a technologist.
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience including one (1) year of work-lead or supervisory experience.
Radiology Manager Schedule - Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday
- Evenings and weekends may be required as needed.
