Job Summary and Qualifications- Coordinates and supervises the flow of the daily activities in Radiology. The areas consist of Diagnostic Imaging, Computed Tomography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance and Radiology Support.
- Prepares schedules for assigned staff and interviews candidates for positions in assigned areas.
- Performs performance appraisals of assigned team members and completes areas' payroll records.
- Assists with implementation of policies and procedures to meet the various accrediting agencies' regulations and laws.
- Interfacing with other departments, physicians and their office staff, patients and their families, visitors and Radiology employees, as needed.
- Acts in concert with the Director of Radiology to counsel employees, as needed
What qualifications you will need:- Graduate of a Radiology program. Bachelor's degree in a health related field preferred
- Current licensure/registry/certification in good standing with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology and current certifications in other modalities, if applicable
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of five (5) years of work related experience in a radiology modality (i.e. Diagnostic Radiology, Ultrasound) Two (2) years supervisory experience preferred
