Position OverviewUHS Wilson Medical Center is currently hiring a Radiology Tech to support our growing Electrophysiology Lab team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technologist who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and enjoys supporting advanced cardiac procedures. This position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule during standard business hours, with no weekend or holiday work required.
The Radiology Tech provides technical and clinical support for both interventional and non-interventional cardiac procedures. This role works closely with physicians, nurses, and the broader EP Lab team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Compensation Range:$37.00 - $55.50 per hour, depending on experience
Essential Functions:Essential functions are those tasks, duties and responsibilities that are performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Provides technical support for all EP Lab procedures to include: structural heart procedures, temp pacemaker insertion, Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implantation, and ablations.
- Responsible for technical support and clinical assistance, both sterile and non-sterile, of procedures including: structural heart procedures, temp pacemaker insertion, Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implantation, and ablations.
- Operates required advanced imaging equipment using established guidelines and imaging protocols for interventional and non-interventional patient procedures.
- Ensures proper safety standards are met and radiation safety practices are adhered to.
- Instructs students and residents and performs preceptor duties when necessary.
- Performs quality assurance checks on equipment.
- Assists in maintaining supply inventory for all EP Lab procedures.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of UHS information systems.
- Demonstrates knowledge of coding procedures for accurate billing of all EP Lab procedures
- Learns new techniques and technology by attending lectures, seminars, and educational readings.

Education/ExperienceMinimum Required:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- One(1) years of experience in full services hospital as a Radiologic Technologist.
Preferred:
- Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a EP Lab
License/CertificationMinimum Required:
- New York State license as Radiologic Technologist
