This position will be part of the CONNECTED LIVING SOLUTIONS--focuses on delivering advanced connectivity and sensor technologies that power the modern smart home---including kitchen appliances, HVAC systems, lighting, security, and energy management.

Job Overview

As a New Grad (Full Time) hire in the CLS Business Unit, you will:

Support a global multidisciplinary team environment as Product Engineer to design and develop functionally robust and cost-effective products / processes to meet customer and market needs

Support product verification using simulation / prototype testing and final product qualification testing. Where needed, drive failure analysis and implementation of corrective actions

Support continuous improvement initiatives using TEOA / Digital methodologies

Support projects at technical reviews, updates and decision forums

Work with global manufacturing resources, procurement, and outside suppliers to meet all TE technical, quality and cost objectives

Participate in building prototypes and creating and documenting product specifications.

Provide support to engineering staff and performing engineering tasks as required.

Minimum of Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field

Knowledge of associated manufacturing processes (molding, stamping, plating and assy)

Knowledge of materials, finishes and contact physics related to interconnection design

Must be self-motivated, highly organized, detail oriented and able to manage projects with minimal supervision. This includes multiple projects and multi task situations, with the ability to prioritize, set and achieve goals

Compensation
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $71,300 - 107,000/year (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

Our internship program typically runs May thru August and gives students the opportunity to work on projects that contribute to the success of their team and build on their classroom experience. Throughout the 10-12-week program, interns will be provided with:

• Executive Exposure

Timeline
TE Connectivity recruits on campus between September and March for New Grad (FT), Rotational, Internship and Co-op positions beginning in May. Once you have applied to a position, your resume and application will be reviewed. If you are selected to move to the next step in the application process, you will be contacted by a recruiter. Once you accept an offer, the onboarding process will begin in January for interns who have committed to offers in the fall semester and upon acceptance for interns who have committed to offers in the spring semester.
