Job Description:

We are looking for a creative problem-solver to drive new product development and lead material and process investigations. You’ll bridge the gap between initial concept and final production, partnering closely with our plant operations teams to bring new ideas to life.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Focus on chemicals as it relates to improved plant performance, cost reduction, and optimization

  • Source, develop, and test new chemicals for thermoset composite materials

  • Develop and implement new quality control and R&D testing (incoming, in-process, and finished materials)

  • Assist with raw material sourcing

  • Ensure best practices collecting experimental data

  • Contribution to team GMP and safety roles

  • R&D Laboratory equipment operation to produce samples for studies

  • R&D Laboratory cleanliness and organization

  • Quality Laboratory testing and optimization studies as needed

  • Contribute and participate in knowledge management methods and policies

  • Keep work area clean and orderly

  • Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Additional duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related field

Experience:Previous internship preferred

Cambria9s starting salary range for this position is $82,185 - $108,139. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
