Job Description
Tessent is looking for a highly motivated, creative, and energetic engineer with a background in the 3D/2.5D manufacturing test to strengthen our software and hardware research and development team. You will be working in an international team with fellow development engineers, as well as quality assurance, customer support, documentation, and product marketing engineers. Together we continuously strive to develop innovative products using the latest tools and technologies across different areas including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. You will have the opportunity to responsibly lead projects that add significant new functionality and value to the products and further improve your personal and professional skills and knowledge.
Required experiences:
• Must have PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering
• Course work and project experience with VLSI design, HDL Synthesis, VLSI testing and design-for-test (DFT)
• Have a deep knowledge and understanding of DFT structures like scan methodology, scan compression, logic built-in self test (BIST), boudary scan and ATPG
• Strong background in 3D IC test with good understanding of interconnect test and repair
• Strong EDA background with C/C++, TCL, Python skills for project implementation and technology development
• Good understanding of IEEE 1500, IEEE 1687 and IEEE 1838 standards
• Experience with design, simulation, verification of ASIC/VLSI circuits and systems
• Demonstrated strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills in English
Additional experiences of advantage include:
• Exposure to ML and AI
• UNIX and LINUX operating systems
• Familiarity with Tessent CAD tools (TestKompress, FastScan, Memory BIST, Diagnosis) a plus
• Expertise in Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL (Behavioral, RTL and gate level)

The pay range for this position is $154,200 - $277,600 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
