Full Job Description
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an innovative and scientifically curious R&D Chemist to join our global research and development team. This role is ideal for someone who brings deep technical expertise in chemistry, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating new materials, formulations, and technologies. You'll thrive here if you enjoy pushing boundaries, experimenting with new ideas, and turning scientific concepts into commercially viable solutions that make a real-world impact.

What will you be doing?
  • Research, develop analytical methods, and assist in formulation of products for the wafer level and semiconductor packaging, IC substrate, and printed circuit board industries
  • Identify, develop, and execute analytical research project activities as delegated to them by the Senior Research Manager
  • Observe, analyze, and interpret the results from these activities and make recommendations for the direction and preferred route forward for analytical research projects
  • Use data generated pro-actively for problem solving and/or value added activities on projects
  • Write reports and presentations that clearly communicate technical findings to other researchers, and participating in departmental project meetings
  • Knowledge and hand-on experience on state of the art analytical methodologies, which include but not limited to electrochemical techniques, CVS, UV-vis, FTIR, HPLC, IC, and GPC.
  • Maintain a high level of professional expertise in the state of the art principles, theories and methodologies in technology areas of strategic importance to AIS
Who are You?
  • BS in Chemistry with 0-2 yrs of laboratory experience
  • Strong background in Analytical Chemistry and/or Electrochemistry particularly preferred
  • Hands-on experience with modern analytical instrumentation and laboratory techniques, including chromatographic, spectroscopic, and electrochemical methodologies
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external partners
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

The typical base salary range for this position is between $71,822.00 and $107,732.00
