Job Description:

Caterpillar's Core division is hiring for Quarry Site Technology consultant in Peoria, IL or in Irving, TX!

Role Summary: In this role you will lead Quarry industry site technology strategy and execution to improve jobsite performance, increase adoption, and drive commercial growth. This role translates customer needs and field insights into technology solutions, product improvements, and roadmap priorities while partnering across Go-to-Market, Commercial, product development teams.

What You'll Do (Job Duties)
  • Serve as the Quarry site technology subject matter expert for Go-to-Market and Commercial teams.
  • Support solution training, deployment, and field engagements to increase technology adoption and utilization.
  • Conduct performance studies and jobsite assessments to evaluate solution effectiveness, identify improvements, and strengthen outcomes
  • Translate customer requirements, product feedback, and field insights into sales opportunities, business cases, product enhancements, and NPI priorities.
  • Lead customer validation through early-learner programs, field-follow engagements, customer visits, and performance feedback.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute the quarry site technology vision and roadmap.

  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

  • Extensive experience within quarry, aggregates, mining, heavy construction, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success deploying and scaling technology solutions that improve safety, productivity, or operational efficiency.
  • Strong consulting and customer-facing experience, including conducting site assessments and identifying business improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to quantify customer value and communicate technology ROI to operational and executive audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Mining, Business, or a related field experience preferred.

Summary Pay Range:

$147,760.00 - $221,640.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
