JOB DESCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design and implement innovative analytics and automation solutions to address key business questions, improve productivity, and enable self-service for business users. Responsible for developing and delivering automation and machine learning solutions. Lead data science and quantitative analytics initiatives, including recommendations on analytical products, services, protocols, and standards across the organization. Identify automation opportunities by designing and deploying solutions to improve budget usage. Lead ideation, designing, tuning, and evaluating large language model (LLM) based solutions, including prompt engineering, and generative AI risk, controls and governance assessment and documentations. Apply automation strategies, data science, and quantitative skills to support and enhance Regulatory Operations. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business drivers, goals, and priorities, and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Develop operational processes and uncover areas for data analysis and automation to drive efficiency. Enforce data quality controls, maintain model governance documentation, and oversee independent validation protocols. Partner with subject matter experts and management to deliver automation solutions from concept through implementation. Accelerate the analytics development lifecycle and facilitate rapid dissemination of insights to stakeholders. Promote and support the adoption of analytic solutions across business units, identifying opportunities to leverage these tools for automation, dashboards, reports, ad hoc analyses, and industry research. Create and maintain executive presentations that translate analytical findings into actionable business insights for senior leadership. Establish technical standards and ensure timely delivery of projects. Partner with cross-functional teams to align analytical strategies with regulatory operations objectives across multiple lines of business. This position requires up to 15% domestic travel to JPMC offices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics, Advance Analytics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Quantitative Analytics, Business Analyst, Data Scientist, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Optimizing the entire process lifecycle using data-driven strategies and analytics tools; industry on risk analytics, fraud detection, deposits accounts opening, credit cards marketing, dispute resolution, suspicious activity reporting, regulatory compliance, Know Your Customer processes, credit bureau furnishing and consumer credit reporting using machine learning and analytical techniques in the financial services industry; Building machine learning models using python for identifying patterns and trends in large datasets using data manipulation, exploratory data analytics (EDA), dimensionality reduction and predictive modelling techniques; Applying logistic regression, multivariate regression, segmentation, decision trees, artificial neural networks and classification techniques to predict possible outcomes for non-labeled datasets; Building process automation in Python; Using SQL for data pull, query optimization, ETL processes and database management; Building technical standards for the creation and measurement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business goals and presenting the KPIs with end-to-end Tableau dashboard development and deployment on Tableau Server; Using SAS for statistical analysis, data manipulation, reporting and production pipelines; Building and deploying complex Alteryx workflows with embedded macros for process automation, ETL procedures and reporting; Using Excel and VBA to create interactive reports including lookup, index match, pivots, and data analysis add-ons; Using on-premises databases including Teradata and Oracle, and Cloud data platforms including AWS and Snowflake; Using Python, SQL, SAS, Alteryx and Tableau for developing and implementing analytical solutions to drive financial savings and inform strategic decision-making; Developing process automations by writing Python, SQL, and SAS code to source, cleanse, and analyzing data across AWS and Snowflake.
