As a Quantitative Analytics Senior Associate at JPMorganChase within the Small Business Card team, you will assess portfolio performance, build executive-ready reporting, and translate customer behavior (spend, payment, and engagement) into insights that inform marketing strategy, resource allocation, and product innovation. You will partner across marketing, product, finance, and risk to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations and measurable outcomes.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources to develop actionable insights that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Apply advanced analytical and data mining techniques to identify meaningful patterns and translate findings into customer behavioral insights
  • Communicate analytical results clearly to business partners and senior leaders, tailoring messages to different audiences and levels of technical depth
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to support marketing, finance, and broader business priorities using modern visualization and reporting tools
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for data-driven decision-making by advising on analytical approaches, methods, and measurement
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to solve quantitative business problems, optimize performance, and deliver practical solutions to critical needs
  • Collaborate with data owners and managers to contribute to data models, analytics architecture, and scalable data strategies
  • Identify process improvement opportunities by assessing data quality, surfacing statistical anomalies, and linking insights to business processes
  • Manage deliverables with a high degree of autonomy, including program execution, stakeholder engagement, and continuous process refinement
  • Use generative artificial intelligence and emerging tools to automate repetitive work, accelerate insight generation, and improve decision-making workflows
  • Evaluate and pilot artificial intelligence-enabled analytics solutions that support marketing acquisition strategy and ongoing performance measurement

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (for example: Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics, Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics, or related discipline) with 3+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 2+ years of experience
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and statistical modeling
  • Strong SQL skills and experience extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from relational databases
  • Experience working with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent technologies
  • Experience applying data mining and analytical methodologies to translate analysis into business actions
  • Experience creating dashboards, visualizations, or recurring reporting using tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or comparable platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to present analytical findings clearly in writing and verbally to senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and influence decisions through data-backed recommendations
  • Experience using emerging technologies, including generative artificial intelligence tools, to improve analytical productivity and workflow efficiency
