Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update ISO 9001:2015 quality control program procedures
  • Review contracts for quality provisions and ensure proper flow-down
  • Maintain organized workspaces while adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Drive continual improvement of the quality inspection process

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee quality control staff, including hiring, training, assigning tasks, and performance evaluations.
• Supervise metrology and calibration functions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Address technical questions, assist with inspections, and support regulatory compliance.
• Support production inspection needs including first piece inspections, in-process and final inspections as well as supplier certification compliance
• Support the ISO 9001:2015 quality control program; update procedures and specifications as needed.
• Review contracts for quality provisions and ensure proper internal and supplier flow-down.
• Maintain organized workspaces and observe all health and safety protocols.
• Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned.
• Continual improvement of the quality inspection process.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while adhering to standards and requirements.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to write technical documents and interface with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficient in blueprint reading and basic knowledge of hand tool usage such as verniers, micrometers, height gages, etc.
• Ability to conduct various inspections preferred.
