Full Job Description
Position Description:
• • Implement interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tool, 6 panel, etc. • • Manage and direct statistical process control activities • • Knowledge of and ability to execute measurement systems analysis & variable data analysis • • Identify sources of variation within a production environment effectively and efficiently • • Establish tolerance limits and facilitate appropriate corrective actions • • Establish and monitor quality target levels for each build • • Provide input for design and assembly concepts which will yield nominal variations • • Establish critical characteristics for gauging and measuring data collection methods • • Determine inspection equipment and facility requirements • • Support expedited concern resolution with cross functional teams including the Quality Department, Production and Suppliers • • Review internal/external suppliers for critical characteristics process compatibility • • Review incoming quality concerns to maintain quality with assigned area; must have experience with initiating containment, determining root cause and implementing corrective actions.

Experience Required:
• Minimum of five years of manufacturing or quality experience • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision • Ability to lead cross-functional groups to resolve concerns • Strong written and oral communication skills: you will be speaking or presenting to Client leadership or representing Client while engaging with 3rd party suppliers • High level of analytical and statistical skills to trend quality data and take appropriate actions • Ability to positively influence change • Ability to handle complex issues and multi-tasking • Strong organizational skills • Proficiency in using Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Understanding of the concepts and principles surrounding Business Objects, SharePoint, and other Client-specific software.
Experience Preferred:
Manufacturing Quality experience preferred. • Black Belt or Green Belt Certification • Previous quality experience preferred. • Knowledge of Assembly, Machining and Gear processes • Experienced in working with GSAR, Global 8D, Statistical Tools, Data Analytics and BSAQ preferred
Education Required:
High School Diploma / GED
