Full Job Description
**ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE LOCAL TO THE HUNTSVILLE, AL AREA TO BE CONSIDERED**

This is not a position focused solely on maintaining ISO documentation. We are looking for someone who can work across Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Customer Support, and Supply Chain to identify problems, improve processes, capture technical knowledge, and help ensure we consistently deliver high-quality equipment and customer experiences.

Our environment is fast-moving and highly technical. Not every process will already be defined. The successful candidate will be comfortable seeking out information, working with subject matter experts, asking good questions, and taking ownership of problems through resolution.

What You'll Do

- Own and continuously improve LSINC's Quality Management System and support ISO requirements.
- Develop and improve practical quality processes across manufacturing, testing, installation, service, warranty, and customer support.
- Identify recurring product and process issues and lead root-cause and corrective-action efforts.
- Work directly with engineers, technicians, manufacturing personnel, and other subject matter experts to solve problems.
- Turn technical knowledge into clear, usable SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and training materials.
- Improve final inspection, machine testing, acceptance, and shipment-readiness processes.
- Help establish consistent installation, preventive maintenance, service, and warranty processes.
- Use service history, customer feedback, quality data, and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure quality issues are followed through to resolution and appropriately communicated across the organization.
- Identify when recurring issues require engineering changes, supplier corrective actions, documentation updates, service bulletins, or additional training.
- Provide leadership with clear visibility into significant quality issues, priorities, progress, and risks.

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, engineering operations, process improvement, or a related technical environment preferred.
- Experience with manufactured equipment or complex technical products strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of quality management systems and ISO principles.
- Experience with root-cause analysis, corrective actions, process improvement, and document control.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, technicians, manufacturing personnel, customers, suppliers, and executives.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to simplify technical information.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Business, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

The Person We're Looking For

You don't need to walk into LSINC knowing everything about our equipment. You do need to know how to find answers and move things forward.

You'll be successful here if you:

- Take ownership and follow through.
- Are naturally curious and willing to ask questions.
- Know how to identify and engage the right subject matter experts.
- Can work effectively when every step has not already been defined.
- Build productive relationships across departments.
- Can respectfully challenge a process when it isn't working.
- Understand the difference between meaningful quality improvement and documentation for documentation's sake.
- Are comfortable with accountability and measurable results.
- Enjoy turning a growing, evolving operation into practical and scalable systems.

This position will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how we build, deliver, service, and continuously improve our products.
