Full Job Description
Job Summary:

As a Quality Manager, you will oversee and implement company and regulatory quality standards according to ISO-9001 standard for product manufacturing and ISO-14001 standard for environmental management systems. You will audit and review quality processes and data according to existing procedures, document results and give recommendations for improvements.

Essential Functions:

  • Support inspection, testing, and verification activities for incoming materials, in-process work, and finished goods.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations and production teams to ensure adherence to processes and resolve quality issues.
  • Develop and implement inspection standards, workflows, and quality control procedures.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Train team members on quality control procedures, inspection techniques, and product standards.
  • Determine root causes of defects, rework, and process deviations.
  • Collect, analyze, and compile statistical quality data to support decision-making.
  • Record inspection results, summarize rework, and maintain accurate entries in the quality database.
  • Ensure proper calibration, safe use, and accurate operation of measurement and testing equipment.
  • Communicate findings and collaborate with team members to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years related experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of relevant software, quality assurance methods, tools and quality manufacturing processes
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • The ability to closely follow quality standards
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance
  • Proficiency in using electronic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies etc.
  • Computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications
  • Documentation and reporting skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills
  • Understanding of company standards
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices
  • Blueprint reading capabilities
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Quality Assurance Specialist


Physical Demands:

  • Visual Demand(s): Ability to look at a computer monitor for reasonable periods of time
  • Hazard(s): Manufacturing environment
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift or move items (typically up to 10 lbs)
