The Quality Manager oversees the quality department in its entirety. The Quality Manager leads all customer compliance and product quality requirement activities; is responsible for maintaining the company's AS9100 Quality Management System; and directs all quality activities related to processes, procedures and policies.

- Plans, coordinates, and directs a department responsible for quality control programs designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
- Identify, analyze, and develop improvements in throughput, productivity, quality, client relationships, and customer service.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution and reporting of quality improvement projects with a focus on overall process improvements, scrap reduction and supplier quality improvement.
- Directly supervises quality team members. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, development, and evaluation of the department.
- Responsible for evaluation and resolution of customer/supplier quality issues.
- Develop and implement the Quality Management System to support the growth of the Company.
- Manage annual AS9100 certification surveillance or recertification audits.
- Continuous reporting of the status of the Quality System to proactively address the organizations Quality needs.
- Prepare and support customer QMS audits and Quality readiness reviews.
- Perform root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for internal and customer non-conformances.
- Analyze quality performance utilizing using statistical and analytical tools and methods data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary.
- Assist disposition process by conducting failure analysis and suggest corrective actions as Material Review Board member.
- Lead the AS9102 First Article Inspection planning process.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor of Science in a business-related field.
- 7-10 years' experience in quality assurance and 1-2 years management experience.
- Extensive knowledge and training in ISO/AS.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
- Read/Interpret requirements from Engineering drawings, Engineering change notices or established operating procedures
- Minimum of 5 years in Aerospace Manufacturing environment preferred.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES AND OTHER CONTRIBUTIONS:- AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality/Business Management System.
- Six Sigma/Lean experience
- ERP/MRP system experience
- Experience with PC skills - Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the suppliers.
- Able to build morale and group commitments to achieve goals and objectives; Supports everyone's efforts to succeed; Inspires and motivates others to perform well.
