Full Job Description
What You'll Do
Royal Technologies is seeking a Quality Manager to join our Hudsonville, MI team at our Quincy facility. The Quality Manager is responsible for leading the plant quality team and coordinating improvements to our quality systems. Your daily schedule will find you anywhere from working with our inspection and quality teams on the plant floor, to addressing quality concerns directly with our customers. This person is responsible for developing and maintaining quality policies and procedures for the facility, as well as working closely with our Production Managers and our Launch Team to ensure perfect product is delivered to our customer.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage the ISO/IATF documentation plan within the plant to ensure successful ISO/IATF certifications
  • Manage the audits of production departments to ensure adherence to quality assurance procedures and standards
  • Lead the plant in providing perfectly acceptable product to the customers
  • Address customer quality concerns utilizing 8D (or similar) problem solving methods
  • Coach and mentor people in the plant
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to ensure we hit our key measures
  • Participate in the launch process of new tools to the plant
  • Ensure proper quality training is provided
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management or related field
  • 7+ years quality experience
  • Experience with ISO/IATF, APQP, SPC, DOE's, GD&T, and process audits
  • Injection molding experience is highly preferred
  • Six Sigma Blackbelt Training or Certification preferred, but not required
